Description

This anatomical heart pendant gets 3D printed in wax and cast on demand.
Estimated shipping from Mumbai (you will have to pay taxes when ordering to the EU) between Friday November 29th and Thursday December 12th.
Comes without a chain, but fits all chains with a jump ring smaller than 3.5 mm in its largest dimension. Simply slip your preferred chain through the pendant’s loop to create your own unique necklace.
One solid piece of an anatomically correct human heart. The model is not hollow, hence it might be a bit more expensive than others.

Note: The plated variants are made of brass electroplated with 0.25 microns. It is an economical alternative to solid gold for occasional wear. For everyday wear, we recommend sterling silver or solid gold variants. Brass can react with your skin leaving a non-harmful greenish tinge with wear over time. To prevent this, you may consider coating the heart with clear nail polish.
Due to manual polishing, the veins on the heart necklace can look a bit different than in the pictures.

Heart Pendant Details

In humans, other mammals, and birds, the heart is divided into four chambers: upper left and right atria and lower left and right ventricles. Commonly the right atrium and ventricle are referred to together as the right heart and their left counterparts as the left heart. In a healthy heart, blood flows one way through the heart due to heart valves, which prevent back-flow. The heart is enclosed in a protective sac, the pericardium, which also contains a small amount of fluid. The wall of the heart is made up of three layers: epicardium, myocardium, and endocardium.
