DNA Ear Climbers Details

Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a long polymer made from repeating units called nucleotides. A DNA molecule carries the genetic instructions used in the growth, development, functioning and reproduction of all known living organisms and many viruses. DNA and RNA are nucleic acids; alongside proteins, lipids and complex carbohydrates (polysaccharides), they are one of the four major types of macromolecules that are essential for all known forms of life. Most DNA molecules consist of two biopolymer strands coiled around each other to form a double helix. Note: Our gold-plated brass molecule jewelry is electroplated with 0.25 microns. It is an economical alternative to solid gold for occasional wear. For everyday wear, we recommend sterling silver or solid gold variants. Brass can react with your skin leaving a non-harmful greenish tinge with wear over time. To prevent this, you may consider coating the DNA ear climbers with clear nail polish.
